Fox’s new Friday drama duo of Second Chance and Sleepy Hollow seem to have stabilized after the double-digit ratings drops last Friday. Sleepy Hollow (0.8 in adults 18-49) was up a tenth from the fast national, even with the final last week. Second Chance (0.6) is currently running up a tenth vs. last Friday.
Some of the established Friday players slipped from last week. After climbing +21% to a season 18-49 high last Friday, ABC’s Shark Tank (1.5) was down -12% but still the top rated program of the night in the demo. Hawaii Five-0 (1.1) also slipped two tenths. CBS’ The Amazing Race (1.1) was down a tenth from its season premiere last Friday. CBS’ Blue Bloods (1.3) also was off by a tenth and once again the most watched program of the night with 10.7 million viewers.
ABC’s 20/20 topped NBC’s Dateline for the fourth consecutive week, this time by 1 million viewers (5.3M vs 4.3M) and by 50% in adults 18-49 (1.2/5 vs. 0.8/3). Both programs were down — 20/20 dropped five tenths (-29%) from last Friday’s highly rated exclusive interview with the mother of one of the Columbine shooters. Dateline was off by a tenth.
Elsewhere, ABC’s Last Man Standing (1.2), NBC’s Caught on Camera With Nick Cannon (0.8) and the CW’s The Vampire Diaries (0.4) held steady, while ABC’s Dr. Ken (1.1) and the CW’s The Originals (0.4) ticked up a tenth.
CBS won the night in total viewers, ABC in adults 18-49.
