Lee Majors (Do You Believe) and Ted Raimi (Xena: Warrior Princess, Spider-Man) have been cast as Ash’s father and Ash’s childhood best friend, respectively, on the second season of Starz’s Ash Vs Evil Dead.

Starz logoThe cast is led by Bruce Campbell in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless as Ruby, who now possesses the powerful Necronomicon; Ray Santiago as Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick dealing with the trauma he suffered in the cabin; and Dana DeLorenzo as Kelly Maxwell, who, grief-stricken after the death of her parents, plots revenge against The Evil Dead.

Season 2, which premieres in 2016, will consist of 10 half-hour episodes.

Fantastic love Lee Majors and he will be great

Majors recently wrapped two movies Almosting It and Do You Believe and will start shooting two feature films this summer.

Ted Raimi has appeared in all three original Evil Dead movies. TV credits include Supernatural, Twin Peaks, CSI: NY, Xena: Warrior Princess and SeaQuest DSV.

Sam Raimi serves as executive producer with Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell and Ivan Raimi along with Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer/showrunner. Aaron Lam and Moira Grant serve as producers.
