Hasbro and Lionsgate have set Emily Blunt to voice a new character in Hasbro’s first full-length animated feature film, My Little Pony. She joins Kristin Chenoweth, Tara Strong, Cathy Weseluck, Andrea Libman, Tabitha St. Germain and Ashleigh Ball. The film is currently set for global theatrical release on November 3, 2017. Jayson Theissen is directing with Hasbro executives Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis as producers. Lionsgate distributes and markets the film globally, with the exception of China. The plot: a new dark force threatens Ponyville, and the Mane 6 – Twilight Sparkle, Applejack, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Fluttershy, and Rarity – embark on an unforgettable journey beyond Equestria where they meet new friends and exciting challenges on a quest to use the magic of friendship and save their home.
