Fox News Channel ranked No. 1 in primetime and total day among all basic cable networks for a fifth week, tying its five-week streak 13 year ago during the Iraq War in 2003.

FNC, like other cable news networks, covered the walk-up to, and day of, Hillary Clinton’s win in the Nevada Dem caucus and Donald Trump’s dominance of the South Carolina GOP primary on Saturday, as well as that day’s funeral for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia. FNC, which did not host a debate or a town hall last week, clocked a cable-news-winning 2.2 million viewers in primetime, and 1.3 in total day.

In primetime CNN ranked No. 7 among basic cable networks with 1.4M viewers, and No. 10 in total day (700K). MSNBC finished 13th in primetime (1M) and No. 17 in total day (532K).
