Veteran TV helmer Adam Davidson is set to direct Fox’s drama pilot Recon, from Warner Bros TV. Written by The Vampire Diaries exec producer Caroline Dries and exec produced by TVD co-developers/exec producers Kevin Williamson and Julie Plec, Recon is about a rookie FBI agent (Tracy Spiridakos) who embeds herself in a suspected terrorist family.

Davidson previously directed the pilot for AMC’s hit series Fear the Walking Dead and the opening episode for DirecTV’s Kingdom. His episodic directing credits include Community, Hell on Wheels, Flesh and Bone and, most recently, Cooper Barrett’s Guide To Surviving Life. Davidson won the Best Live Action Short Oscar in 1991 for The Lunch Date, which he wrote and directed.  He’s repped by CAA, Andrea Simon Entertainment, and attorney David Krintzman.
