Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt has been renewed for a third season, Netflix announced at TCA today. The announcement comes before the series from the 30 Rock duo Tina Fey and Robert Carlock begins its second season April 15.

Kimmy started with a straight-to-series order at NBC and bypassed the pilot stage, then before the Ellie Kemper-starring comedy premiered it moved to Netflix with a second-second order tacked onto the first. The Emmy-nominated series follows the travails of Kimmy (Kemper) who, after living in a cult for fifteen years, decides to reclaim her life and start over in New York City. She quickly finds a new job (working for Jane Krakowski), a new roommate (Tituss Burgess), and a new beginning. The cast also includes Lauren Adams, Sara Chase, Sol Miranda and Carol Kane.
