TruTV has renewed Billy On The Street for a fifth season and ordered an additional 14 episodes for the first season of hit investigative comedy Adam Ruins Everything. Both series launched under the network’s recent comedy-focused brand refresh and earned top 10 rankings among cable nets for adults 18-34. In addition, TruTV has ordered a pilot from Big Breakfast, the production company behind Adam Ruins Everything. TruTV President Chris Linn made the announcements today during the network’s panel at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.,

TruTVTruTV has ordered 10 half-hour episodes of Billy On The Street for a fifth season premiere in late 2016 with Billy Eichner returning to fire off more questions on pop culture to people on the streets of NYC. Adam Ruins Everything will return in mid-2016 with the 14 additional half-hour season 1 episodes. Host Adam Conover uses a combination of comedy, history and science to dispel widespread misconceptions about everything we take for granted.

The network also has placed a pilot order for No Dumb Questions (working title). Led by host Emily Axford, a team of comedy journalists poses the questions you didn’t think to ask, but once you hear them, you have to know the answers.

Billy On The Street is executive-produced by Mike Farah, president of production for Funny Or Die, along with Billy Eichner and Anna Wenger. Doug Brady also serves as executive producer.

Adam Ruins Everything is produced by Big Breakfast with Adam Conover, Sam Reich, Spencer Griffin, and Jon Cohen serving as executive producers.
