Tina Fey and Jeff Richmond will write and direct a tribute to the Saturday Night Live creator and executive producer that will feature Tituss Burgess, Jimmy Fallon, Cheyenne Jackson, Taran Killam, Jane Krakowski, Audra McDonald, Maya Rudolph, Martin Short and some surprise guests at a gala for Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series on February 11. The Alice Tully Hall event is being co-chaired by Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts board members Adrienne Arsht and Bryan Lourd, and Hugh Jackman.

Proceeds from the gala benefit will go towards supporting the American Songbook series and Lincoln Center’s other performance series, as well as its educational and community initiatives.

Since its launch in 1998, American Songbook has invited seasoned artists and newcomers to honor and expand the idea of popular American songwriting from the turn of the 20th century to the present day. Now in its 17th season, the series runs now through early April, with 25 performances in three Lincoln Center venues.
