“Hey y’all! I made it to New Hampshire and I’m thrilled to be taking over the HRC Instagram! Warning: I’m pretty focused on my outfits.” With that, Girls creator Lena Dunham, guest-hosting Hillary Clinton’s Instagram account today, took another step toward media ubiquity.

Maybe she’s looking for a new gig? HBO recently announced that Season 6 of Girls would be the series’ last. Dunham, a devoted Clinton campaigner who got Hillary to chat on camera about Lenny Kravitz’s explicit wardrobe malfunction in September, sent a photo of herself in a red, white & blue striped dress (with blue stockings and a white knit beret-style cap) to Clinton’s 640,000 Instagram followers Friday afternoon.

A second post, sent out about 4 PM ET, was a photo of Dunham with former soccer player and Clinton supporter Abby Wambach. Dunham noted that her patriotic dress was by All Knitwear. Within an hour of the second post (and at last count), the post had more than 6,000 likes and 150 comments, from the good (“THE ULTIMATE DREAM TEAM”) to the bad (“No one likes you…”) and the ugly (oh, just see for yourself).
