Fox’s Grease Live has found its Teen Angel. R&B group Boyz II Men will make a cameo appearance as Teen Angel and perform the iconic song “Beauty School Dropout” on the show airing January 31 on Fox. The trio just announced the news on Twitter.

In the live television adaptation of the musical classic, the beginning of senior year means the end of Danny (Aaron Tveit) and Sandy’s (Julianne Hough)summer romance – until Sandy unexpectedly transfers to Danny’s high school. With their friends pulling them in different directions, it’s up to Danny and Sandy to stay hopelessly devoted as they make their way from Rydell High to a new frontier. Also starring are Vanessa Hudgens, Keke Palmer, Carlos PenaVega, Carly Rae Jepsem, Kether Donohue, David Del Rio, Jordan Fisher and Andrew Call.

Boyz II Men has won four Grammy Awards, nine American Music Awards, nine Soul Train Awards, and three Billboard Awards, among other honors. The trio holds the distinction of being the best-selling R&B group of all time, with 60 million albums sold. Past hits include “End of the Road,” “I’ll Make Love to You,” “One Sweet Day,” “Motownphilly” and many others.
