A budding politician you might have heard about is coming back to late-night. NBC said today that presidential hopeful Donald Trump is set to guest on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday, January 11. The GOP front-runner visited the Jimmy Fallon-hosted talker on September 11 — the first time Trump had done a late-night talk show since announcing his White House bid in June.

The Donald and the network were at odds last summer after NBC followed corporate sib Univision in dropping the Trump-run Miss Universe and Miss USA pageants in the wake of the candidate’s controversial comments about Mexicans. Trump sued but dropped the legal action on September 11 — the day he taped that Tonight Show appearance — and bought out NBC’s stake in the pageants. Things between the pol and the net have been better since, with Trump scoring big ratings and buzz when he hosted Saturday Night Live in November.

Of course, wherever Trump goes, TV ratings follow. He guested on Jimmy Kimmel Live! last month, boosting its numbers, and viewership records continue to fall when Trump and his GOP rivals gather for debates. The next one is January 14; Deadline will live blog it as usual.
