The Casting Society of America celebrated its best and brightest tonight at the 31st annual Artios Awards. Honors were handed out from the worlds of TV, film and theater during simultaneous ceremonies in New York City and Los Angeles. Straight Outta Compton and The Big Short were among the films to take home wins, while on the TV side Transparent won for both comedy pilot and series casting, and Game Of Thrones won for drama series.

In Los Angeles, casting director Bernard Telsey was presented with the Hoyt Bowers Award, and director Danny Boyle received the Career Achievement Award In New York, writing duo Michelle and Robert King took home the New York City Apple Award, recognizing individuals who have made special contributions to the New York entertainment industry through collaboration with casting directors.
