As sunlight broke over storm-stalled New York, the trade group Broadway League announced that today’s performances, most of them 3 P.M. matinees, will go on as scheduled:

“All Broadway shows are playing as scheduled, today, Sunday, January 24th,” said League president Charlotte St. Martin. “The show must go on, especially for the large percentage of our audience who come in from out of town to see a Broadway show and we don’t want to disappoint them. As always, the safety and security of theatergoers and employees is everyone’s primary concern.”

For information about refunds and exchanges, theatergoers should contact their point-of-purchase, the League advised.
