PREVIOUSLY, 8:39 PM: There were some tense moments tonight at the Grove in Los Angeles as the Fire Department evacuated a theater that was showing Star Wars: The Force Awakens. An LAFD spokesman tells Deadline multiple fire trucks responded to an alarm at about 8:10 PM and firefighters cleared the theater. They soon determined that it was a false alarm — someone apparently pulled a fire alarm — and was there was no danger to the public. The trucks have left the scene, but there’s no word about whether the screening has continued.
