Hollywood PR power Rogers & Cowan has tapped powerhouse veterans Alan Nierob and Fran Curtis as Co-Presidents of Entertainment Worldwide, marking the first time the company has had an executive in the President role since co-founder Warren Cowan was named president in 1950.

In another exec move, Richard Davis has been named Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer as part of the exec shuffle. The news comes after Rogers & Cowan named former Corbis Entertainment executive Mark Owens as its new CEO earlier this month.

Nierob rose from intern to EVP and has one of the juiciest client lists in town including new Star Wars leading man John Boyega, Chris Pratt, Jamie Foxx, Denzel Washington, Mel Gibson and Caitlyn Jenner to name a few. He is an awards-campaign specialist and has developed marketing strategies for books and celebrity supported sponsorships. (It was Nierob as the guiding hand who orchestrated Jenner’s rollout to the public that included a Vanity Fair cover shoot, the ABC News sit-down with Diane Sawyer and the E! TV series.)

Curtis, also an EVP, is R&C’s music guru leading worldwide public relations efforts for world tours and albums, TV and documentary releases, and major brands. Her client list is also golden: The Rolling Stones, Elton John Andrea Bocelli, AEG and Live Nation for concerts, as well as Chelsea Handler, HBO and Showtime among many.

Said Rogers & Cowan chairman Paul Bloch: “Alan and Fran are essential parts of the Rogers & Cowan family, and have always put forth an unparalleled level of energy and expertise in all areas of our business on behalf of our clients and our company. Coupled with Rich’s operational and financial acumen, we feel that we have an executive leadership team in place which will allow Rogers & Cowan to build on our longstanding position in the industry as the premiere entertainment public relations firm, and continue to provide our clients with innovative, forward thinking ideas and services.”

Davis previously served as Western region Chief Financial Officer at CMG, where he oversaw affairs for some of the company’s holdings including Rogers & Cowan and ad biggie Dailey. He also was instrumental in launching The Axis agency and consumer-lifestyle firm Current. In his new role as COO, Davis will focus primarily on Rogers & Cowan and Dailey.

Rogers & Cowan is part of the Octagon Sports and Entertainment Network, within the Interpublic Group of Companies.
