Get ready for a massive, Oscar-level traffic headache, Los Angeles.

Monday’s Death Star-sized premiere party for Star Wars: The Force Awakens was already going to close off a huge chunk of Hollywood Blvd to make way for the big return to a galaxy far, far away. But that section of Los Angeles isn’t just being overrun with Jedi acolytes – the days immediately following the Star Wars gala will see the premieres of the Point Break reboot and The Revenant also clogging things up.

Of course Star Wars is a much bigger deal than the other two films, and so it is that street closures for the Force Awakens premiere have already begun. The Los Angeles Police Department announced today that Hollywood Boulevard between Sycamore Avenue and Highland Avenue will be closed from December 11 through 14, and indeed, crews have already begun setting up security stations, facilities and a massive tent that reportedly stretches from Highland to La Brea which will accommodate the reception following the film’s 6:30 PM showing on Monday.

But it gets more complicated. Disney has yet to confirm which of Hollywood’s classic theaters the film is playing, or what precisely will be happening at the post-screening party. But bet on something big: On December 14, Hawthorne Avenue between Orange Drive and Highland Avenue will also be closed from noon to midnight.

In addition, a portion of Hollywood Boulevard will be closed from 10:10 AM until Midnight on Tuesday, December 15 to make room for the Point Break premiere, while the same section will be closed on December 16 from 10:10 to midnight for The Revenant. In other words, expect something like a combination of The Academy Awards and the Los Angeles Marathon for the next few days, and plan accordingly.
