Marisa Tomei, Timothy Olyphant, Mireille Enos and Charlie Plummer have been cast in Behold My Heart, an indie drama being directed by Joshua Leonard that has just kicked off production. Leonard and Rebecca Lowman wrote the script about a mother and her teenage son in the aftermath of tragedy who must forge into uncharted territory in order to move on with their lives. David Call, Emily Robinson, Nik Dodani and Sakina Jaffrey co-star.

Mary Pat Bentel, who collaborated with actor-director Leonard on his Sundance 2011 pic The Lie, is producing with David Hansen and Johnny Mac (Autumn Productions), Tomei (Bella Vida Productions), Marcus Cox and Karrie Cox (Through Films). Heywood Wilansky, Hao Pham-Wilansky and Justin Williams are executive producing. CAA is repping North American distribution rights.

Leonard is an actor whose credits include Blair Witch Project and Humpday and most recently If I Stay. On the TV side his credits include the Duplass brothers’ Togetherness on HBO and A&E’s Bates Motel. His feature directing credits include 2008’s Beautiful Losers.
