In one of his first major moves as ITV Studios America president, Philippe Maigret has inked an exclusive producer overall deal with Christina Wayne and her Assembly Entertainment, reuniting with the scripted series producer after first signing her into a pod deal while he was CEO of Endemol Studios. Wayne and her team will relocate to ITV Studios America’s offices in New York and Los Angeles.

Through her deal with Endemol Studios (now Endemol Shine Studios), Wayne developed and is executive producing the Showtime comedy pilot I’m Dying Up Here. She also has nine one-hour cable dramas in active development at Cinemax, Amazon, WGN, USA, A+E and BBC America.

Prior to creating Assembly Entertainment, Wayne was President at Cineflix Studios, Cineflix’s scripted TV division, where she developed, sold and executive produced the BBC America drama series Copper. Before that, she was SVP of scripted series/miniseries for AMC where she worked on Mad Men, Breaking Bad and Broken Trail.

Wayne’s team includes Assembly Entertainment Director of Development Lauren Paget, who joined the company in November 2013. Prior to joining Assembly, Paget worked in scripted development and production at Shine America and its predecessor Reveille  on FX’s The Bridge, Fox’s Gracepoint and NBC’s The Office.
