NBC announced today its hit party-time series Hollywood Game Night will return for a fourth season Tuesday, January 5 at 8 PM, with Emmy-winner Jane Lynch back as host.

Last summer, originals of Hollywood Game Night averaged a 1.5 rating, 5 share in adults 18-49 and 5.3 million viewers overall. That’s up 25% in 18-49 and up 20% in total viewers vs its averages for originals the prior summer (1.2 in 18-49, 4.4 million viewers overall), in L+7. In its Tuesday 10-11 PM ET time period, Hollywood Game Night ran undefeated last summer versus regular ABC and CBS competition in adults 18-49, NBC says.

In the series, contestants step beyond the velvet rope and rub shoulders with some of their favorite celebrities and compete for the chance to win up to $25,000. Celebrities set for the new season include Eva Longoria, Geena Davis, Taye Diggs, Laverne Cox, Tony Hale, Melissa Etheridge, Abby Wambach, Marlon Wayans, Kesha, Florida Georgia Line and Al Michaels among others.

Hollywood Game Night is produced by Hazy Mills Productions, Mission Control Media and Universal Television. Sean Hayes, Todd Milliner, Michael Agbabian, Dwight D. Smith and Michael Binkow are executive producers.
