“Damien, it’s all for you,” the ill-fated maiden (Kate Boyer) coos before hurling herself through a high-rise window to the waiting sidewalk below. Creepy enough, sure. But does this ring a bell?
The series stars Bradley James as Damien, all grown up after working all that black magic in Richard Donner’s bicentennial creepshow that starred Lee Remick, Gregory Peck and Harvey Stephens as the wee devil-lad. A&E picked up Damien in the spring from Lifetime, which had given it a straight-to-series order. Also starring Barbara Hershey, Omid Abtahi and Megalyn Echikunwoke, the 10-episode program will be unleashed next year. Parting note: Beware of anyone who claims to have watched this trailer — or, worse yet, the film — 666 times. Pleasant dreams.
