Morgan Krantz, writer director of indie Babysitter, has been cast as the male lead opposite Noël Wells in the Comedy Central pilot Bad Couple, executive produced and written by real-life couple Wells and Flint Wainess. The semi-autobiographical project follows Flint (Krantz) and Noël (Wells), an inseparable, highly opinionated couple who constantly clash with modern social mores, making life difficult for friends, family, co-workers, neighbors and themselves.

Also cast in the pilot are Lucas Hazlett as Jonas, Flint and Noël’s  suave friend who never has a job, but always somehow has money; Olivia Norman as Claire, Noel’s adorable, yet odd and unfiltered co-worker; and Lucas Kavner as Eric, Flint’s brother, a put-upon, unlucky-in-love eye doctor.  The pilot will be directed by Ben Berman and Chris Romano is the showrunner.

As an actor, Krantz, repped by Pakula/King & Associates and 3 Arts Entertainment, recurred on ABC Family’s Switched At Birth.
