Emmy-nominated production designer Nelson Coates has been elected President of the Art Directors Guild, IATSE Local 800, defeating incumbent Mimi Gramatky who had held the office for three years.

The guild’s officer elections were a clean sweep for newcomers, with Oana Bogdan defeating incumbent Treasurer Cate Bangs, and two other incumbents – Vice President Jim Wallis and Secretary Judy Cosgrove – not seeking re-election. Patrick DeGreve was elected VP, and Thomas Wilkins was elected Secretary.
