Ten days ahead of the premiere of Marvel’s Jessica Jones, Netflix has dropped a second trailer for the anticipated series. “Make it a double”, says the whisky-drinking Jessica (Krysten Ritter) as she steels herself for more Kilgrave mind control, the mysterious figure who emerges from the shadows in the latest clip. This version takes an extended look at the turmoil and drama in Hell’s Kitchen and the demons Jessica faces both inside and out (and a quick glimpse of wall sex between Luke and Jessica)
Based on the Marvel Comics series Alias, the second installment of Marvel’s line of Netflix shows stars Krysten Ritter as title character Jessica Jones. After a tragic ending to her short-lived Super Hero stint, Jessica is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases in New York City. Ritter is joined by David Tennant (Kilgrave), Mike Colter (Luke Cage), Rachael Taylor (Trish Walker), Carrie-Anne Moss, Eka Darville, Erin Moriarty, and Wil Traval, among others. Marvel’s Jessica Jones premieres with 13 one-hour episodes exclusively on Netflix on November 20.
Marvel’s Jessica Jones is executive produced by series showrunner Melissa Rosenberg (Twilight, Dexter) and Liz Friedman (Elementary), along with Jeph Loeb (Marvel’s Daredevil, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television. Have a look at the latest trailer above.
