Bad Teacher creator/executive producer Hilary Winston has sold two single-camera comedy projects — My Time/Your Time to CBS with How I CBS LogoabclogoMet Your Mother creators/executive producers Carter Bays and Craig Thomas executive producing; and Let’s Pretend This Never Happened to ABC, done in collaboration with Temple Hill and producer Ellen Goldsmith-Vein. Winston will write and executive produce both projects through her overall deal at Sony Pictures TV, where she and her company Gifted and Talented Camp have been based for the past eight years.

Craig and CarterCBS’ My Time/Your Time, based on the Web series 7P/10E, chronicles the relationship of a young couple as they begin dating long distance. Sony TV is co-producing with CBS TV Studios. Bays and Thomas executive produce through their overall deal at Sony TV which the duo signed this past summer for their banner, Bays Thomas Prods. The five-part Web series, released in 2014, starred Chris Alvarado and Avital Ash as a couple that embarks on a bi-coastal romantic relationship via Skype. You can watch the first episode below.

letspretendABC’s Let’s Pretend This Never Happened, based on the book of the same name by Jenny Lawson, is produced by Sony TV and ABC Studios where Temple Hill was based before moving to 20th TV this past summer. Let’s Pretend centers on Jenny who a few years ago left her small Texas town and eccentric family in search of a normal life. But when a death in the family brings her back home, she’s forced to face the fact that she will never be “normal.” Winston executive produces with Goldsmith-Vein of The Gotham Group (The Maze Runner) and Marty Bowen & Wyck Godfrey of Temple Hill (Revenge), while Gotham’s Jeremy Bell co-executive produces. Temple Hill and The Gotham Group previously developed a comedy based on Lawson’s book for ABC and ABC Studios during the 2013-2014 season with different writers. At Temple Hill, the project is overseen by Albert Page.

Winston previously served as a co-executive producer on Sony TV’s comedy series Community and Happy Endings and worked on My Name Is Earl. She is repped by UTA, Rise Management and attorney Jared Levine.
