EXCLUSIVE: Alex Bronfman and Matt Orenstein’s nascent Canadian indie distributor ABMO has entered a multi-year output deal with Toronto-based Elevation Pictures to handle ABMO’s slate. The deal kicks off with ABMO’s February, the Osgood Perkins-helmed thriller that stars Emma Roberts, Kiernan Shipka and Lucy Boynton. Elevation has previously handled such titles as Locke, A Most Violent Year, The Imitation Game and Room.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Elevation to further exploit our titles through a robust and direct distribution network in Canada,” said Bronfman and Orenstein. “We admire the business their team has built, the spirit of Elevation’s films, and feel this alliance will best position ABMO to reach audiences across the country.”

The deal was negotiated by Bronfman and Orenstein on behalf of ABMO and Noah Segal of Elevation which was founded in 2013 with finance partner Teddy Schwarzman of Black Bear Pictures.
