Saturday Night Live, with host Tracy Morgan in his first TV acting gig since last year’s truck accident, and musical guest Demi Lovato logged a 4.2 household rating in metered-market households and a 2.0 rating in adults 18-49 in the local people meters. The telecast, which featured Morgan’s 30 Rock co-stars and Larry David, was delayed by 10 min on the East Coast because of a primetime football overrun. Last night’s SNL was up +8% in households from last week’s show hosted by Amy Schumer and up a tenth in 18-49 to match the season premiere hosted by Miley Cyrus in the demo. It also was up from the corresponding episode last October, hosted by Bill Hader (3.8, 1.8), which had tied SNL lows.
