ABC has put in development Black Stiletto, a drama written/executive produced by Javier Grillo Marxuach (Lost), from Mila Kunis’ Orchard Farm Prods., and an untitled drama written/executive produced by Rob Long, from Reese Whitherspoon’s Pacific Standard. ABC Studios is behind both projects.

stilletomarxuachBlack Stiletto, based on the novels by Raymond Benson, follows a young woman’s evolution into a modern-day hero when a family secret from the past is revealed and puts the only family she’s ever known in imminent danger. Kunis will
executive produce along with her Orchard Farm Productions partners Cami Curtis, Susan Curtis, and Lisa Sterbakov. Tony Eldridge and Nancy Moonves are are attached as executive producers. Orchard Farm is repped by CAA and Patti Felker. Grillo Marxuach, repped by ICM Partners and Jamie Mandelbaum, rose up through the ranks on Lost and currently is co-executive producer on The 100. He also created and was the showrunner/executive producer of The Middleman. Eldridge and Moonves are repped by CAA.

abclogoThe untitled Rob Long project is a romantic mystery involving a billionaire, newly acquitted for the murder of his wife and her lover, and the female detective who almost succeeded in putting him away. Rick Porras and Pacific Standard’s Witherspoon and Bruna Papandrea also executive produce.
