NCISMichael Weatherly had been a rarity – a TV star with a role on a hugely popular series who had no agency representation. Now the long-time free agent has signed with WME. He will continue to be managed by Anonymous Content.

The agency signing comes as Weatherly is ramping up his production efforts. In conjunction with signing a new contract to continue to play Special Agent Tony DiNozzo on hit CBS drama NCIS, Weatherly last year inked an overall development deal with NCIS producer CBS TV Studios for his then-newly launched production company, Solar Drive Productions.

Under the pact, Weatherly is executive producing one of the talked about projects this development season, the CW’s hyper-stylized, gritty drama adaptation of Little Women. The project, from CBS TV Studios and Solar Drive, is written by Alexis Jolly, with Tiffany Grant, who runs Solar Drive’s television operations, producing.
