EXCLUSIVE: Two-time Academy Award winner Hilary Swank has joined WME. This is a big get for the agency, with the versatile actress capable of moving between multiple genres and ready to return to the heights of a career that saw her win two Best Actress Oscars by the age of 30. Swank joins from CAA. Her most recent film, The Homesman in which she starred opposite Tommy Lee Jones, John Lithgow, James Spader and Meryl Streep premiered at Cannes last year.
Swank memorably earned her two Best Actress Oscars for her work in Clint Eastwood’s Million Dollar Baby and Kimberly Peirce’s ahead-of-its-time transgender drama Boys Don’t Cry. Other credits include New Year’s Eve, P.S. I Love You and Freedom Writers.
She will next star in MRC and Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s The One Percent for Starz opposite Ed Helms and Ed Harris. Swank continues to be repped by attorney Jeff Bernstein.
