Former Celebrity Apprentice star Donald Trump is returning to the NBC entertainment fold with a hosting gig on Saturday Night Live on November 7. This will be the Republican Presidential hopeful’s second stint on the late-night sketch show; he previously hosted SNL on April 3, 2004.

trumpsnlTrump has emerged as the biggest star of the ongoing presidential campaign, drawing big ratings for his appearances. He also has been a favorite target for late-night comedy shows, including SNL, which kicked off its 41st season with a cold open featuring the real estate mogul, portrayed by Taran Killam.

At one point locked in a legal feud with NBC over the network’s dropping of the Miss USA pageant following Trump’s controversial remarks about Mexican immigrants, the presidential candidate settled the lawsuit and has been making high-profile appearances on NBC, including a skit with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show.

SNLSia will be the musical guest alongside Trump, her second appearance on SNL.

Saturday Night Live is produced in association with Broadway Video. The creator and executive producer is Lorne Michaels.
