Keesha Sharp (Are We There Yet, Bad Teacher) is set as a recurring in Ryan Murphy’s FX’s American Crime Story: The People V. O.J. Simpson. Based on the book The Run Of His Life: The People v. O.J. Simpson, ACS: O.J. tells the story of the Simpson murder trial from the perspective of the lawyers. It explores the chaotic behind-the-scenes dealings and maneuvering on both sides of the case and how a combination of prosecution confidence, defense wiliness and the LAPD’s history with the city’s African-American community gave a jury what it needed: reasonable doubt. Sharp plays Dale Cochran, Johnnie Cochran’s loyal and loving wife. She’s repped by Genesis Entertainment Partners and Abrams Artists Agency.
