Tuesday brought triple highs for Oprah Winfrey’s network as one Tyler Perry show wrapped up its season and another began its new cycle. Last night saw the latest season finale of The Haves And The Have Nots hitting its most-watched episode ever with 3.7 million and its highest demo rating ever. That helped add up to a Tuesday where OWN itself had its most watched night ever. OWN averaged an audience of 2.7 million on Tuesday night, up 5% in total viewers from the previous network high of late March of this year. And the Season 3 debut of If Loving You Is Wrong didn’t do too bad either with 2.9 million total viewers tuning in at 10 PM.

With just a 3% dip from the Season 2 premiere audience of March 24, the Perry-produced Loving You certainly was the beneficiary of that other Perry project. Once again, Haves And The Have Nots has proved to be the most-watched show in OWN’s tenure. Last night’s THATHN topped the series’ previous viewership record holder of the March 11, 2014, Season 1 midseason finale by 3%. In terms of the key demo of Women 25-54, with a 3.1 rating, the 9 PM Haves was the top show for the demo in all of cable for the night while the 2.6 rating for Loving was in second place.
