This morning TBS unveiled the second of what appears to be a series of Samantha Bee-snarks-on-male-body-parts promos for her upcoming topical show. The program has been given a name: Full Frontal With Samantha Bee, and a January premiere, but no launch date or timeslot were announced. Most money is on the post-Conan timeslot formerly occupied by Pete Holmes and George Lopez, on the assumption Full Frontal will be a weeknight latenight show.

“Don’t watch my new show just because I’m a woman,” Bee directs in the new promo.  “Watch because of my nuanced perspective on world events, my repartee with news-makers from across the ideological spectrum – and of course my 10-pound lady balls.”

In May, TBS unveiled the first Bee show video tease, in which the longest serving member of The Daily Show’s Best F**king News Team attends an exhibit of the portraits of the white guys of late night, and is offered a variety of sausages on which to nibble:

In March, we’d all had to cross Bee’s name off our lists of candidates to replace Jon Stewart as host of The Daily Show when TBS announced it had signed her to host a new program, cementing its relationship with Bee and her husband, Jason Jones “even further.” The new show would be a platform for Bee “to apply her smart and satirical point of view to current and relevant issues,” TBS said back then, without specifying it would air in late-night. In addition to hosting, Bee will serve as executive producer on the show, along with Jones, TBS said. The basic cable network already had nabbed the couple to exec produce a comedy series inspired by their own experiences with family getaways,  starring Jones as the head of a family taking a road trip to Florida.

“After watching Sam’s work for years, we knew that her distinctive humor and talent belong at the front of her own show,” TBS EVP Brett Weitz said as her starring vehicle was being developed.
