We’re getting the first look at the Season 2 key art for WGN America’s nuclear drama Manhattan. In the stills above (and video below) we see Ashley Zukerman (Charlie Isaacs) & Rachel Brosnahan (Abby Isaacs) and John Benjamin Hickey (Frank Winter) & Olivia Williams (Liza Winter). Below is CSI alum William Petersen as Col. Emmett Darrow, a new addition to Season 2. This is Petersen’s first TV role since leaving the mothership CSI series in 2009 after 10 seasons.

They join returning cast members Manhattan 3Daniel Stern, Katja Herbers, Alexia Fast, Christopher Denham, Harry Lloyd and Michael Chernus. Neve Campbell also is on board for Season 2 in a recurring role.

Created and written by Sam Shaw and directed by Thomas Schlamme, Manhattan is set against the backdrop of the mission to build the world’s first atomic bomb and follows the brilliant but flawed scientists and their families in Los Alamos, NM. Manhattan is produced by Lionsgate Television, Skydance Television and Tribune Studios and exec produced by Shaw, Schlamme, Dustin Thomason, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Marcy Ross.

Manhattan returns at 9 PM Tuesday, October 13, on WGN America.
