Gabrielle Krengel had been a staple in every acceptance speech Jane Lynch has krengelmade, with the actress regularly giving her agent of more than a decade shoutouts like “Gabrielle Krengel, you are the best agent in the world” and “I love you” from the Emmy and Golden Globe stage. Lynch did it one last time tonight when accepting her third Emmy a month after the passing of Krengel, who died in August from pulmonary embolisms at the age of 49.

Lynch, the last winner at the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, dedicated her award for Hollywood Game Night to Krengel, saying, “I miss you every day.”

With Krengel by her side, Lynch got her breakout role on Fox’s musical dramedy Glee, which earned the actress an Emmy and a Golden Globe; signed on to host NBC’s Hollywood Game Night, which landed her two more Emmys; hosted the Primetime Emmys; and toplines CBS’ upcoming comedy series Angel From Hell.

“Gabrielle was a one-of-a-kind force of nature who I had the immense pleasure of working side by side with over the past 13 years,” Lynch said shortly after Krengel’s death last month. “She truly loved this business and was so beautifully devoted to the folks she represented. I was one of the lucky ones.”
