L+3 ratings results are in, and Sunday night’s episode of Fear The Walking Dead pulled in 11.7 million total viewers, up 43% from Live+Same Day, and 7.6 million adults 18-49, up 46% from Live+SD.

AMC’s The Walking Dead spinoff smashed cable ratings with its August 23 premiere in L+3, pulling in 13.3 million total viewers and 8.5 million adults 18-49. That pushed it ahead of AMC’s other recent successful and previous record holding spinoff Better Call Saul in the key categories and sealed Fear The Walking Dead as the summer’s top cable offering.

AMC will run encores of the first and second episodes of Sunday night and a new episode (“The Dog”) will return at 9 PM September 13.
