Here’s how the new panel of co-hosts on The View interviews GOP front-runner Donald Trump, hours before VPOTUS Joe Biden is set to be Stephen Colbert’s guest on CBS’ Late Show as politicians continue running the talk-show gauntlet. (Jeb Bush did Night 1 of Colbert’s show.) The View marked the first daytime talker to feature Trump during his run for the Oval Office. He took questions from Whoopi Goldberg, Michelle Collins, Paula Faris, Raven-Symoné, and Joy Behar, who Trump welcomed back to the show.

The mostly congenial phone interview this morning ended with a bit of a kick as Behar called out Trump on some of his comments about women and most of the panel backed her line of questioning. Goldberg chimed in with, “You’ve gotta get a little bit more informed on what’s going on in women’s issues.” She ended the phoner by telling the Donald: “We want you to come sit here. We’ll have snacks and stuff, maybe a little wine.”
