Twentieth Century Fox Television has added two new executives to its roster. Reena Singh has joined as Vice President, Current Programming and reports to SVP of Current Programming Carolyn Cassidy and Anand Shah has joined as Vice President, Comedy Development and reports to EVP of Development Michael Thorn.

Shah fills a void left in the comedy department when Cassidy was named head of current.

“Anand has great taste and encyclopedic knowledge of up and coming writers and comedians,” said Thorn. “He has a proven track record of success working with top producers within the creative community making him a fantastic addition to our comedy development team at the studio.

Shah joins the studio after most recently serving in development as VP at Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films. Before that he worked as creative consultant at Barnstorm Pictures, VP of Development & Production at FilmColony and held positions at Unique Features, Paramount Pictures and Creative Artists Agency.

Singh recently served as a development and current executive at USA Network and Universal Cable Productions where she worked on such series as Colony and Covert Affairs. Prior to USA she began her career at Disney/ABC as a producer for ABC Network News, an Entertainment Associate at ABC Network and then as a development executive at Disney Channel.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Reena to Twentieth Century Fox Television current programming,” said Cassidy. “She is a smart, thoughtful and outgoing creative executive with great talent relationships. She has already made an impact on her shows and will no doubt help us grow the next generation of innovative hits here at 20th.”
