NBCUniversal’s USA Network will air more than 40 weekend English Premier League soccer matches starting this Saturday, NBCU said today. The first telecast airs at 10 PM ET with U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard and Everton hosting Watford.

Most of the weekend games will air during the multi-match Saturday 10 AM ET window. In the U.S., two live matches will air in most Saturday 10 AM ET windows — one game on NBCSN and one on USA.

“Bringing Premier League soccer to USA is a key part of our overall strategy to add more live programming to the network,” said Chris McCumber, president of USA Network. “This is a great opportunity to help expand the platform for the top league in the world’s most popular sport.”

All remaining Premier League matches will be available on Premier League Extra Time. In addition, weekly matches will be telecast in Spanish by Telemundo and NBC Universo, and will also be streamed on the NBC Deportes En Vivo Extra app for mobile. All Premier League games also will be streamed on NBC Sports Live Extra, NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, tablets and connected TVs.
