jonstewartemmyHow’s this for your moment of Zen? Less than two weeks after wrapping his gig as host of The Daily Show, Jon Stewart has found another microphone to yell into. He is set to host SummerSlam, WWE’s annual slugfest that airs live August 23 on WWE Network. A longtime veteran of the pro wrestling thing, Stewart in February got into a beef with squared-circle champ Seth Rollins, who said he’d do a better job hosting Daily Show than the 16-year host ever did. (Watch Stewart’s scowling reply above.) They shot back and forth on social media, extending everyone’s brand.

This year’s SummerSlam will be a four-hour numb-athon with an hourlong preshow, coming to you from Barclays Center in Brooklyn starting at 3 PM PT. The main event will feature the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar in a rematch of their WrestleMania 30 bout in which Lesnar ended the Deadman’s undefeated streak. Personally, we’d rather see Stewart grapple with Bill O’Reilly in a no-rules cage match to the death. Someone start a hashtag.
