Iliza Shlesinger has been named host of the upcoming TBS series Separation Anxiety, a comedic relationship-based game show featuring a unique twist that isn’t revealed to contestants until after they’ve played the game. TBS ordered 14 one-hour episodes when the show was announced during May’s upfronts, with plans to launch the show in late 2015.

Shlesinger, the only female and youngest comedian to hold the title of NBC’s Last Comic Standing, is coming off her Netflix original comedy special Freezing Hot which has led to a sold-out club and theater tour. The game show isn’t totally new to her though: she also hosted CBS TV Distribution’s syndicated game show Excused, which aired for two seasons and 230 episodes from 2011-2013.

Separation Anxiety is produced by 5×5 Media and Electus, which is also behind TBS’ King Of The Nerds, which wrapped Season 3 in March. The new series is produced by 5×5’s Craig Armstrong, Rick Ringbakk and Charles Wachter, and Electus’ Chris Grant.

Shlesinger is repped by APA and Avalon Management; 5×5 is also repped by APA.
