Applications are being accepted through September 1 for Disney Channel Storytellers, a program designed to develop the next generation of series creators and writers of programming for kids, tweens and families. Now in its second year, the 20-week salaried program begins in November and is open to professionally represented writers.

Emmy-nominated writer and producer Marc Warren (Even Stevens, That’s So Raven) returns as program supervisor. Advisers also include Disney Channels’ programming and development executives and producers.

Each participant or writing team in the program will develop one live-action script for pilot consideration, with mentoring from concept ideation and writing to network pitching and pilot production. They also will create digital content for multiple platforms.
