With his help, the couples will go through a multi-step process designed to help them break free from the past. Later, 10 singles will arrive at the resort, giving the exes a fresh chance at love. Host Electra will share her own relationship stories.

“‘Ex Isle’ is a concept that’s completely untapped in the world of dating and relationship shows, but one that’s familiar to so many of us,” said Marc Juris, WE tv’s president. “The couples featured will be given the tools and guidance to let go of the past and finally move towards building emotionally healthy and productive relationships. Viewers will witness a transformational journey that’s captivating, entertaining and relevant.”

“This is probably one of the most relatable shows I have been a part of,” says Salsano. “We all have exes and have been these people. You feel their pain and heartbreak like it’s your own; you root for them as they heal and find new love. Let’s just say, I’ve been up since we started filming, it is an emotional rollercoaster and I don’t want to miss a second.”

In addition to Salsano, the show is executive produced by Joel Zimmer and Pam LaLima for 495 Prods. Executive producers for WE tv are Lauren Gellert, Angela Molloy and Mark Powell.
