Jurassic World hit $1.522 billion at the worldwide box office last night, running past Disney/Marvel’s The Avengers ($1.52B) to become the third-highest-grossing film in history. Stateside, Jurassic World is  at $614.3M, just $10.76M shy of overtaking Marvel’s masked team to become the third-highest-grossing film behind Avatar ($760.5M) and Titanic ($658.7M).

Abroad Uni’s dinosaur fourthquel stands at $907.3M. Dinos will raid Japan next on August 5 in their global tour. The top two films currently at the all-time worldwide B.O., standing over Jurassic World, are Avatar ($2.79B) and Titanic ($2.19B).
