EXCLUSIVE: Genevieve Angelson is set to co-star in Amazon’s ensemble drama pilot Good Girls Revolt, joining a cast that now includes Anna Camp. Written and executive produced by Dana Calvo, the project is set in 1969 at the beginning of the women’s rights movement when a group of young women at the hottest magazine in the world ask to be treated fairly, setting off a convulsive chain of events.

Angelson, who most recently played opposite Rainn Wilson on the one-season Fox series Backstrom, will play Patti Robinson, described as a wild-haired tenacious researcher and an adventurous flower child who just back to New York after a transformative six months in San Francisco. The TriStar TV-produced pilot inked her earlier this month and is aiming for an August shoot in New York City. Lynda Obst and Anonymous Content’s Jeff Okin also are executive producing.

Angelson appeared on Broadway opposite Sigourney Weaver, David Hyde Pierce and Billy Magnussen in 2013 Tony winner Vanya, Sonya, Masha & Spike. She also did an arc last season on Showtime’s House Of Lies. She is repped by UTA and Suskin Management.
