We’re getting a first look at the second season of Better Call Saul. AMC just released two first-look photos from the Television Critics Association summer press tour of the series, which is currently shooting Season 2 in Albuquerque, NM, for debut early next year on AMC.
The series, which tracks small-time lawyer Jimmy McGill’s transformation into a man who puts the criminal in “criminal lawyer,” is executive produced by Vince Gilligan, Peter Gould, Mark Johnson and Melissa Bernstein. Bob Odenkirk stars as Jimmy McGill, Jonathan Banks, as Mike Erhmantraut, Michael McKean as Chuck McGill, Rhea Seehorn as Kim Wexler, Patrick Fabian as Howard Hamlin and Michael Mando as Nacho Varga. The top photo features Odenkirk as McGill, below are creators/EPs Gilligan and Gould on the set.
The series recently received seven Primetime Emmy noms for Season 1, including outstanding drama series, best actor for Odenkirk and supporting actor for Banks.
