EXCLUSIVE: The former True Blood actress is truly filling up her dance card the past week. Just a few days ago, Anna Camp joined National Geographic’s multi-hour Mayflower drama Saints & Strangers and now she’s going digital. Camp has signed on to the pilot Good Girls Revolt for Amazon Studios, I’ve learned. With a Mad Men-like feel, the show from EPs Lynda Obst and Anonymous Content’s Jeff Okin and written by Dana Calvo is set in 1969 at the beginning of the women’s rights movement when a group of young women at the hottest magazine in the world ask to be treated fairly, setting off a convulsive chain of events. Camp is going to play Jane, a highly skilled, couture wearing and straight arrow star researcher at the mag. Produced by TriStar Television, Good Girls Revolt pilot is aiming to start shooting in August in NYC.
Camp is repped by UTA, Authentic and attorneys Ira Schreck and Isaac Dunham at Schreck, Rose Dapello & Adams
