EXCLUSIVE: The HBO start-up satire may have ended its second season on June 14 but one of its leads has a whole new gang of friends. Martin Starr signed with CAA late last week I’ve learned. Formerly with UTA, the Silicon Valley actor was also most recently seen in the indie I’ll See You In My Dreams with Blythe Danner. The Brett Haley pic opened at the Sundance Film Festival and then had a limited release this spring. As well as playing the cutting Bertram Gilfoyle on the Mike Judge co-created and renewed Silicon Valley, Starr has appeared in cult faves such as Freaks and Geeks and Veronica Mars and will be in the upcoming feature The Operator. The actor is also repped by Ben Feigin at Anonymous Content and attorney David Krintzman at Morris Yorn.
