iZombie co-creator/executive producer Rob Thomas has signed a two-year overall deal with Warner Bros. TV, the studio behind the midseason CW drama, which has been renewed for a second season. Under the pact, Thomas will continue to executive produce the quirky, comic book adaptation alongside fellow co-creator/executive producer Diane Ruggiero-Wright. Additionally, Thomas’ production company Spondoolie Productions will develop projects created by Thomas as well as by other writers supervised by him.

Veronica Mars creator Thomas will continue to work with longtime collaborators Danielle Stokdyk and Dan Etheridge, who executive producer iZombie and will continue to executive produce all future Spondoolie projects with Thomas.

Thomas, repped by UTA and attorney Jeanne Newman, recently wrote and directed the Kickstarter-funded Veronica Mars movie and previously co-created and executive produced Starz comedy series Party Down.
