Having great success with Inside Amy Schumer, Comedy Central is betting on a weekly series featuring another female comedian, Schumer’s Women Who Kill cohort and Inside Amy Schumer recurring guest star Nikki Glaser. The network has greenlit Not Safe With Nikki Glaser to series and ordered a one-hour stand-up special headlined by Glaser.

Comedy Central 2 logoHosted by Glaser and executive produced by Chris Convy, Glaser, showrunner Chris McGuire (The Roast Of Justin Bieber) and Brillstein Entertainment Partners’ Alex Murray (@midnight with Chris Hardwick) and Brad Petrigala, the ten-episode Not Safe With Nikki Glaser blends chats with comedians, pre-taped vignettes and social experiments, with Glaser and her guests sharing personal stories about sex, relationships and other taboo topics that Glaser frequently touches upon in her standup. The series will debut in 2016. Glaser’s stand-up special, which she executive produces with Murray, will tape this fall.

“I was shocked to learn our fans have such keen interest in sex, but so be it,” said Comedy Central’s president of original programming Kent Alterman. “Nikki is the perfect talent to satisfy them.”

Not Safe With Nikki Glaser, piloted in December under the title #NSFW w/Nikki Glaser, is described as providing a frank, funny, and honest perspective on all things sex. The audience will also be encouraged to share their own potentially NSFW content with Glaser across multiple platforms.

“I’m deeply touched that Comedy Central has decided to fulfill my dream of hosting a comedy show about sex. My parents are very proud (of my sister, who is a teacher),” said Glaser.

Glaser co-hosted MTV’s late-night talk show Nikki & Sara Live for two seasons and co-hosted the podcast You Had To Be There. On Comedy Central, she is a rotating panelist on @midnight with Chris Hardwick and has appeared on Inside Amy Schumer, Adam Devine’s House Party, The Burn With Jeff Ross, The Half Hour, and Comedy Underground With Dave Attell.

In addition to teaming with Schumer, Rachel Feinstein, who also recently did a pilot for Comedy Central, and Marina Franklin for the Women Who Kill special and recurring on Schumer’s Comedy Central series, Glaser also appears in Schumer’s debut feature, the upcoming comedy Trainwreck.

Glaser is repped by Brillstein, ICM Partners and attorney Lev Ginsburg.  Convy is also repped by Ginsburg.
